Join the Lipedema Treatment Network & Resolve Insurance Carrier Issues

The Lipedema Treatment Network (LTN) serves as a hub between lipedema treatment providers and insurance carriers.

When you join LTN as a provider, you are added to the “LTN-Carriers Lipedema Master Agreement.” This serves as a single channel to connect you with insurance carriers such as Aetna, Cigna, Humana, BCBS, Kaiser, etc. As a result, there’s no need for negotiation of lipedema-related treatments with each carrier.

When additional carriers are added to the network, you are automatically “in network” with those carriers as well.

As a member of LTN you avoid daily dealings with multiple carriers about:

• Pre-authorizations
• Denials and appeals
• Billings
• Reimbursements and reimbursement disputes

The above concerns are all handled by LTN’s experienced personnel. Our team has existing relationships with insurance carriers, enabling you to open your practice to lipedema patients who, in the past, have been concerned about getting approval from their carriers to cover the cost of treatments.
